1st Ascension Island Scouts
EXPEDITIONS
We have been away to Europe twice in the last 10 years - `89 and most recently 1996.
We were away for over 6 weeks. We stayed in Northern Ireland for half the time with The 1st Portstewart Scouts, our very good friends.

We went to see Manchester United thrash Newcastle at Wembley in the Charity shield and spent a week at BP House in London seeing the sights

We also satyed in Grindewald in Switzerland by the Eiger and went to the top of the Jungfrau to see snow which we`d never seen before.
Johnny & Julian, David & Julian at the "Top of Europe"In 1997 we were very glad to have the 1st Portstewart Scouts come to stay with us on Ascension. 36 of them came for 2 weeks at Easter, we had a fantastic time together and made some friends for life.
