World Friendship Diary

 

Sunday 5 December 1999

This was the annual Christingle service held at St Mary's Church in Georgetown. All the island's children attended and the Church was packed to the walls. People even had to stand in the porch of the Church. All the island children wore their group's uniform (Scouts, Guides, Cubs, Brownies and Beavers).

The church was packed full.

All the children lit their Christingles (which they made at school).
It was a beautiful sight.

There is no Cub meeting this week due to the School Christmas play.
