Welcome to 1st Ascension Island Cub Scouts

Josh Hello and welcome to the 1st Ascension Cub Scouts home page.

We meet every Tuesday. Sometimes we go to our Group HQ building (The Scout's Beach Hut) but most of the time we are out and about around the island doing many Cub Scouting activities.

The picture below shows us doing a "Pack Good Deed". We picked up ten bags of litter and hopefully reminded some of the local people that throwing rubbish out of the car window is not a good thing to do!

On Sunday 7th March 99, the we were kindly invited to spend the afternoon onboard the Maersk Ascension (which is permanantly anchored off Georgetown).

They had a fantastic time and were totally spoilt for the whole afternoon. It was a bumpy ride across to the ship.
